Our nurseries are located in the Mbeya region of the beautiful African country of Tanzania. The growers work with passion and dedication to grow the best avocados. The avocados are sorted by size and quality in our pack house in Iringa, where the avocados arrive an hour after harvest and are cooled so that the ripening stops. Avocados are quickly upset, so every hour counts. The avocados are sorted, packaged and placed in a refrigerated container with precision. We visit the plantations regularly and we see how the fruit hangs on the tree and carry out technical audits in the area of traceability and crop protection. We also check whether our growers comply with working conditions and EU legislation. This allows us to deliver 1st class quality to the customer. And that’s what it’s all about!
